Congratulations! You’ve made it to the next part of The Spirit Journey. Whew! Now we enter “the heart” of our stor
In writing A Portal to the Spirit World, my intention has been to stay true to my real life adventures. Sometimes these memories have been disturbing, and for you dear reader, they may be shocking. However, life itself is at times dark, so be warned, this chapter will not be a “walk in the park”.
Fortunately, our two heroes are indestructible (or so we think). I can assure you that their further adventures will get mighty tough, but in the end, all will be well!
It has been challenging, in this second chapter, to creatively depict supernatural events, not to mention the extraordinary people, animals and locations I encountered during my travels. I couldn’t relay entirely on Christa, as even in his treasure drove of illustrations, and mind bending fables, the unusual elements that were needed for illustrating A Portal to the Spirit World were nowhere to be found. So by reaching for my own drawing skills (with slight adjustment to stay true to Christas style), I entered entirely new possibilities in moving forward.
Now, it is with great pleasure that I invite you, to continue on with me. I hope you’ll enjoy chapter two A Portal to the Spirit World, as much as I have in creating it.
A Portal to the Spirit World begins next Monday.
